Go slow 

At the beginning of the relationship, a Cancer likes to take things slowly. Think of the crab in its shell – it hides at the first sign of danger. Don’t come on too hot and heavy at the start because they might shy away. 

If you’re to woo your Cancer love, you need to have patience because they won’t trust you straight away. In fact, you could say this is one of the least hasty of all the zodiac signs when it comes to dating. 

However, once they trust you, they’re very committed. 

Be trustworthy 

It goes without saying then that you need to be a trustworthy type of person to win a Cancer’s heart. No playing games, dating other people or lying to them – they’ll know! 

All water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) have crazy good intuition, so if you’re a bit of a player and not looking for anything serious, it’s probably best not to involve a Cancer – they want someone they can really rely on and won’t stick around for shady business. 

Be brave 

Cancers get a bad rep for crying and being too sensitive, and they are definitely emotional creatures, however, they’re actually quite straight-faced and really very brave.

Care 

Mostly, a Cancer wants to know you care about them. Their love language tends to be “quality time” or “acts of service” and they feel special when you want to do things with or for them. 

In return, the Cancer will go out of their way to make you feel cared for too. They’re notorious for wanting to cook for their loved ones and being super cuddly when the time is right.
